The building probably dates back to the end of the 16th century as per documents and the architectural details connoting the rural lordly style of the period.
The mansion has always been tied to the land surrounding it and to the territory life and history. It became ours towards the middle of the 18th century.
It has been home to people coming from different walks of life: politicians, notables belonging to the “Parma” cultural life.
During World War 2 it was a home and a hiding place for the “Partigiani”. It was a safe meeting point for the anti-fascists and then the “Partigiani” as you can see from the plaque on the facade.
